Kunal Dewan, founder and managing principal of Liberty Capitus, has been a leader in real estate and construction space for almost two decades. He now focuses on cash flowing commercial real estate due to its large scalability, substantial tax advantages and asymmetric appreciation. The private equity group primarily works closely with accredited investors providing them an opportunity to diversify their portfolios beyond traditional investments.

Prior to founding Liberty, Kunal was a successful structural engineer and had worked on many iconic building structures in California. He holds a bachelors and a masters degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and is a licensed engineer in the state.

Kunal is a full time father who enjoys to spend time with his family and two young boys. He finds extreme joy in his fatherhood and recognizes that there is no greater leadership challenge than parenting.

He dedicates a part of his time to his non-profit organization- Raising Horizons, which provides basic human needs (food, clothing, & education) and improves the lives of low income new immigrant families by promoting self sufficiency.
